Cooking for one or two people can be a challenge, especially if you are trying to eat healthy. This program will give you some ideas of meals you can try. We will look in your cupboard, refrigerator and freezer for ideas to jazz up your mealtime. Come try a few recipes that are made using some common household appliances.
Healthy eating on a budget means meal planning, to keep you from making impulse purchases and buying foods you may not end up eating. Come to the program to learn more about meal planning and saving money on foods from MyPlate. We will also give you some grocery shopping tips and learn what meals you can make when money gets tight.

Who Can Enroll?
Step 1: Go to www.CarlisleCPS3.org to register
Step 2: Complete a comprehensive online survey
Step 3: At your scheduled time on May 17th, 22nd or 23rd go to the Enrollment location that you registered at. It only takes 20-30minutes!
At enrollment you will sign a consent form, complete a brief survey, provide a waist circumference measurement, and give a small blood sample.
Step 4: Complete Follow-up Surveys
Complete periodic surveys sent to your home every few years to update your information.
