Sadler Health Center Corporation provides primary and preventative medical health care services for residents of all ages, addressing all life cycles. Sadler participates in programs targeted to meet the needs of the uninsured, underinsured, Medicaid and Medicare populations. These programs include the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) program for children, Pennsylvania Vaccines for Children, and the HealthyRx program. Programs provided for Sadler Health Center Corporation patients, but offered by outside medical partners, include HIV/AIDS screening and treatment, HIV/AIDS counseling, and after hours coverage for patients.
Sadler Health Center Corporation Dental Clinics consists of the main clinic in Carlisle and a satellite clinic located in Perry County. The dental clinics treat patients of all ages. Our targeted population are patients who are uninsured, under-insured or on Medicaid. Both clinics provide primary patient care which includes: Oral exams, x-rays, cleanings, sealants, fillings, simple extractions, simple root canals, minor TMJ treatment, emergency care and referrals to local dental specialists. Patients in pain are generally seen the same day or at least within 72 hours.
In support of our medical and dental services, the HealthyRx program was established through the generosity of the Carlisle Area Health and Wellness Foundation to help our uninsured patients as well as other uninsured patients of the community get help in obtaining the necessary life sustaining medications they need to improve their quality of life. Sadler Health Center Corporation has saved its patients over $10 million in retail value since October of 2005.
Tobacco Education and Cessation Service are open to all residents of Cumberland and Perry Counties. There are no eligibility requirements to our educational programs. All classes held at Sadler Health Center are open to the public and at no cost to the resident.
Nurse-Family Partnership is a free and voluntary service where highly educated Registered Nurses visit income-eligible women in their homes during their first pregnancy and throughout the first two years of that child's life to accomplish three goals:
Sadler Health Center Corporation's Nurse-Family Partnership serves all of Perry County and certain zip codes in Cumberland County. The Nurse-Family Partnership program is an evidence based program which is out of Colorado and is funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Office of Child Development and Early Learning and the Carlisle Area Health and Wellness Foundation.
